The President of Sohag University reassures the health status of students injured during a traffic accident and confirms the stability of their health conditions

Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, recently went to the old university hospital, to check on the health status of the students who were exposed to an accident in which a microbus tire exploded, in which 8 students from the university were traveling, 4 students from the Faculty of Commerce, a student from the Faculty of Law, and 3 students from the Faculty of Engineering. He is accompanied by Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice Presidents of the University, and Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, Dean of the College of Medicine, and a number of faculty members.

Al-Numani confirmed during his inspection of the injured students that all the necessary health services were provided to treat them, provide them with the necessary treatment methods, and carry out all medical procedures and care for them, adding that the students were interviewed by a specialized medical team from the departments in charge (general surgery, orthopedics, and neurology departments). – Cardiothoracic surgery, and the necessary tests and examinations were done for them, wishing them a speedy recovery.

Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi explained that the university hospital received 8 students today from the Al-Balina Center, where the reception doctors provided the necessary first aid to them and detained them to receive the necessary treatment, adding that the affected cases varied between bruises and minor wounds, adding that discharge reports were written for 3 students and their return to their home. The rest of the injured will be released this evening, after completing the necessary treatment and making a full recovery.
